Declercq Stortbeton used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Verviers 111-56 on Saturday night. The game without a history. Declercq Stortbeton led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Verviers-Pep.'s 28. At the losing side the former international Nina Crelot (169-87) responded with 18 points and Noemie Bonvoisin (186-95) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Verviers-Pep.'s coach Antoine Braibant gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Declercq Stortbeton will meet Belfius Namur (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Verviers-Pep. will play against Kangoeroes (#3) and hope to win that game.
