B.Willebroek defeated Liege at home 75-69. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 22-18. But Liege won second period 18-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. B.Willebroek forced 19 Liege turnovers. The former international guard Vreny Van Driel (175-88) fired a double-double by scoring 28 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Ann Lydia Boel (182-88) chipped in 8 points and 10 rebounds. Center Laura Henket (183-98, agency: LBM Management) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international center Jaleesa Maes (188-92, agency: LBM Management) added 12 points and 17 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Liege players scored in double figures. Liege will play next round against strong Sint Kateline Waver trying to get back on the winning streak. B.Willebroek will try to continue on its current victory against Castors Braine at home.
