Regular Season Round 8: NLEX RW - TNT Ka Tropa 107-112

Very important is a home loss of second ranked NLEX RW (6-3) against fourth ranked TNT Ka Tropa (7-3) on Wednesday night. Host NLEX RW was defeated by TNT Ka Tropa in a tough game in Makati City 107-112. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of NLEX RW. TNT Ka Tropa players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. NLEX RW was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. American swingman Glen Rice-Jr (198-91, college: Georgia Tech) orchestrated the victory with a triple-double by scoring 25 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 blocks. Jeth-Troy Rosario (201-92) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Five TNT Ka Tropa players scored in double figures. American-Mexican forward Aaron Fuller (198-89, college: USC, agency: Haylett Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 18 rebounds and naturalized American swingman Alex Mallari (193-87, college: Lewis-Clark St.) added 19 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for NLEX RW. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. TNT Ka Tropa have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. NLEX RW at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with SM Beermen. TNT Ka Tropa will play against league's leader B.Ginebra in Manila in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. NLEX RW will play at home against Star Hotshots and hopes to get back on the winning track.
