Regular Season Round 1: IK Eos - Telge 60-82

An interesting game was played in Lund where Telge (#8) crushed host IK Eos (#3) with 22-point difference 82-60 on Saturday evening. Telge made 20-of-21 free shots (95.2 percent) during the game, while IK Eos only scored one point from the stripe. The game was dominated by American players. Guard Tayler Mingo (170-92, college: Wright St., agency: ProDep Management) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists (made all of her fifteen free throws !!!) for the winners and guard Taylor Wurtz (183-90, college: Wisconsin) chipped in 18 points and 14 rebounds. Four Telge players scored in double figures. At the losing side Talia Walton (186-92, college: Washington) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and guard Breonna Mosely (173-93, college: Kennesaw St.) scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. IK Eos' coach Kevin Taylor gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Telge will meet at home AIK Basket (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. IK Eos will play against Mark and hope to win that game.
