Okapi Aalstar defeated Liege Basket at home 88-80. Okapi Aalstar dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Liege Basket's 30. They outrebounded Liege Basket 34-23 including 28 on the defensive glass. Okapi Aalstar looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American Bill Amis (206-87, college: Hawaii, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Samoan-American power forward John Tofi (203-84, college: UTEP, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Slovenian swingman Jakob Cebasek (200-91) answered with 13 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian swingman Milos Bojovic (198-81) added 18 points in the effort for Liege Basket. Five Okapi Aalstar and four Liege Basket players scored in double figures. Liege Basket will play next round against Belfius Mons-Hainaut trying to get back on the winning streak. Okapi Aalstar will try to continue on its current victory against Limburg United on the road.
