But SAP Vaucluse was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Boulogne-sur-Mer 89-77 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by SO Maritime Boulogne. SAP Vaucluse was better in third quarter 28-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. SO Maritime Boulogne dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to SAP Vaucluse's 24. SAP Vaucluse was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for naturalized Cameroonian guard Ralph Temgoua (194-87, college: St.Lawrence) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American point guard Diante Watkins (174-90, college: Robert Morris) contributed with 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Yann Siegwarth (180-93) answered with 15 points and 7 assists and Serbian swingman Vukan Zivkovic (199-91) added 21 points in the effort for SAP Vaucluse. Five SAP Vaucluse players scored in double figures. SO Maritime Boulogne will face Souffelweyersheim (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. SAP Vaucluse will play against Brissac-Aubance (#2) in Brissac-Quince and hope to win that game.
