Rather expected game when 8th ranked Blackwater (5-6) was smashed by sixth ranked Rain or Shine (7-4) in Manila 122-98 on Saturday. Rain or Shine looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Blackwater's players. It was a good game for American forward JNathan Bullock (196-87, college: Cleveland St., agency: SDJ Sports) who led his team to a victory with 30 points and 8 rebounds. Center Raymond Almazan (206-89) contributed with 20 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. American swingman Henry Walker (198-87, college: Kansas St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Allein Maliksi (190-87) added 29 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Blackwater. Five Rain or Shine and four Blackwater players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Rain or Shine moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Blackwater keeps the eighth position with six games lost.
