Regular Season Round 1: Polfarmex Kutno - Slask Wroclaw 86-74

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Slask (0-1) in Kutno on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Polfarmex (1-0) 86-74. Polfarmex shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Power forward Mateusz Szwed (198-91) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and swingman Mateusz Zebski (190-92) chipped in 11 points and 7 assists. Four Polfarmex players scored in double figures. Polfarmex's coach Jaroslaw Krysiewicz used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Maciej Krakowczyk (200-96) responded with 17 points and forward Marcin Bluma (201-89) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Polfarmex is looking forward to face Enea Astoria (#9) in Bydgoszcz in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Slask will play at home against Nysa Klodzko (#13) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
