Regular Season Round 2: COB Calais - Reze 70-52

COB Calais used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Reze 70-52 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by COB Calais. Reze managed to win third quarter 18-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Reze 41-28 including a 34-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American power forward Chandra Harris (185-89, college: Georgia St.) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds. Point guard Elodie Mendy (163-94) chipped in 15 points and 6 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four COB Calais players scored in double figures. Ivorian forward Kany Kouyate (178-90) produced 16 points and 6 rebounds and Canadian center Hannah Sunley-Paisley (186) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. COB Calais will meet Avenir (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Reze will play against Reims (#6) and hope to win that game.
