Regular Season Round 1: CFBB - Brissac Anjou 45-101

An interesting game was also a 56-point tough home loss of CFBB in a game in Paris versus undefeated Brissac-Aubance (#4) 101-45. The game without a history. Brissac-Aubance led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to CFBB's 26. Brissac-Aubance forced 22 CFBB turnovers and outrebounded them 39-22 including a 25-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Brissac-Aubance especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 68.8 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Senegalese center Moise Diame (206-86) nailed a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side and center Maxime Chupin (205-89, college: Cal-Irvine) accounted for 15 points and 10 rebounds. Five Brissac-Aubance players scored in double figures. Power forward Mathis Dossou-Yovo (202-0) came up with 12 points and 8 rebounds and guard Yohan Choupas (193-0) added 7 points and 6 rebounds respectively for CFBB in the defeat. CFBB's coach Jean-Aime Toupane gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Brissac-Aubance will meet at home SAP Vaucluse (#18) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. CFBB will play against Vendee Challans (#3) and hope to win that game.
