The most exciting game of round 6 in the VBA took place in Hanoi. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 4th ranked Hanoi B. (2-4) to top-ranked Saigon Heat (5-0) 74-71 on Thursday evening. The guests trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 21-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Saigon Heat outrebounded Hanoi B. 30-17 including a 27-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Saigon Heat especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 60.0 percentage. Hanoi B.'s coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Saigon Heat have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 5-0 record. Hanoi B. lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with Hochiminh CW. Saigon Heat are looking forward to face Hochiminh CW (#5) at home in the next round. Hanoi B. will play against Danang Dragons and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
