The biggest surprise of round 2 in Total League took place in Steinsel where host Amicale (1-1) beat Basket Esch (1-1) 70-56 on Saturday evening. They outrebounded Basket Esch 50-34 including 39 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Billy McDaniel (199-84, college: Ark.-Monticello) who scored 23 points and 9 rebounds. American forward Shavon Coleman (196-92, college: LSU, agency: Court Side) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 17 rebounds. American power forward Clancy Rugg (203-91, college: Vermont, agency: Court Side) produced 14 points and 8 rebounds and the former international guard Pit Biever (185-91) added 9 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for the guests. Basket Esch will play next round against Heffingen trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Amicale will try to continue on its current victory against Residence in Bereldange.
