Regular Season Round 1: Cyberdyne IR - Iwate Big Bulls 79-58

No shocking result in a game when Cyberdyne IR (2-0) crushed Iwate Big Bulls (0-2) in Tsukuba 79-58 on Saturday. The game without a history. Cyberdyne IR led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great shooting night for Cyberdyne IR especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. It was a very good performance for American power forward Rick Rickert (211-83, college: Minnesota) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. Swingman Josei Maniwa (193-86) contributed with 20 points for the winners. American center Michael Buchanan (213-94, college: USC Upstate) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import center Markhuri Sanders-Frison (203-88, college: California) added 11 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Iwate Big Bulls. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Cyberdyne IR will face again Iwate Big Bulls (#5) at home in the next round.
