Regular Season Round 1: Bambitious Nara - Yamagata 61-80

Bambitious Nara (1-1) recorded a loss at the home court. Hosts were rolled over by Yamagata (1-1) 80-61. The game without a history. Yamagata led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American center Will Creekmore (205-89, college: Missouri St.) stepped up and scored 23 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import forward Billy McShepard (208-87, college: Valdosta St., agency: Blacktop Management) chipped in 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side South African center Tshilidzi Nephawe (208-89, college: N.Mexico St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and American power forward Gary Hamilton (208-84, college: Miami, FL, agency: Inception Sports) scored 8 points and 5 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Yamagata will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Bambitious Nara will play again at home against Yamagata and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
