Quite upsetting was La Roda's home defeat in a game versus Agustinos-Leclerc who edged hosts 77-74. La Roda was very close to get their first win. But it seems they have to wait a little bit longer. La Roda cut a 15-point halftime deficit to three at the end of the game. Forward Manuel Vazquez (199-98) fired 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Jose Medina (185-93) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Arturo Fernandez (182-90) produced 11 points and 5 assists and Chadian center Placide Nakidjim (205-94) added 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks respectively for lost side. Five Agustinos-Leclerc and four La Roda players scored in double figures. La Roda's coach Alex Gonzalez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Agustinos-Leclerc will meet at home Myrtia (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. La Roda will play against Fontedoso Carrefour in Avila and hope to win that game.
