Regular Season Round 3: Hyeres-Toulon - Limoges 84-82

Important game to mention about took place in Toulon. Hyeres-Toulon (2-1) saved a 2-point victory at home edging Limoges (0-3) 84-82 on Saturday evening. Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Hyeres-Toulon made 26-of-29 charity shots (89.7 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Limoges turnovers. Limoges was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for Digue Diawara who led the winners and scored 23 points. Guard Corentin Lopez (193-97) accounted for 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Hyeres-Toulon's coach used entire bench in such tough game. DR Congolese center Merveille Muninga (203-97) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and guard Benjamin Delage (183-97) added 22 points and 5 assists respectively for Limoges in the defeat. Four Hyeres-Toulon and five Limoges players scored in double figures. Hyeres-Toulon will play against Pau-Lacq-Orthez (#12) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Limoges will play against Levallois (#14) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
