Regular Season Round 3: Hyeres-Toulon - Limoges 85-70

Very expected game when Limoges CSP Elite (1-2) was defeated on the road by Hyeres-Toulon (3-0) 85-70 on Saturday. Hyeres-Toulon looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American swingman Raymond Cowels-III (192-90, college: Santa Clara, agency: SportsVision-Service) who scored 25 points. The former international center Ferdinand Prenom (201-91) chipped in 19 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Four Hyeres-Toulon players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American-Cameroonian point guard Danny Gibson (178-84, college: S.Indiana) who recorded 17 points and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and swingman Axel Bouteille (200-95) added 13 points respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Hyeres-Toulon will face Pau-Lacq-Orthez (#5) on the road in the next round. Limoges CSP Elite will play against Paris-Levallois (#14) and hope to win that game.
