The best player for the winners was American forward Titus Robinson (201-90, college: Buffalo) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 18 rebounds. The former international Dean Gindt (201-91) chipped in 24 points and 5 rebounds. American power forward Cory Johnson (202-88, college: Valparaiso) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds and international point guard Tom Schumacher (190-87) added 19 points and 6 assists respectively for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. T71's coach Pascal Meurs rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Sparta will face Musel Pikes (#6) in Stadrbredimus in the next round. T71 will play at home against Etzella (#7) and hope to win that game.
