An interesting game was played in Aanekoski where Tapiolan Honka (#4) crushed host Aanekosken (#5) with 33-point difference 90-57 on Saturday evening. Tapiolan Honka dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Aanekosken's 38. Tapiolan Honka forced 31 Aanekosken turnovers. International swingman Heta Korpivaara (185-84, college: Seton Hall) stepped up and scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and American guard Kiana Johnson (171-93, college: Virginia Union) chipped in 12 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals. Four Tapiolan Honka players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Tyler Gilbert (185-94, college: Houston) responded with 20 points and the other American import swingman Jazmine Perkins (178-89, college: Washington St.) scored 9 points and 10 rebounds. Aanekosken's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Tapiolan Honka will meet Espoo Team (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Aanekosken will play against Catz Lappeenranta and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
