Another exciting game was played in Mont de Marsan between Hainaut and Basket Landes where Hainaut (1-0) beat Basket Landes (0-1) on the road 67-53. Worth to mention a great performance of Lithuanian Egle Sulciute (190-85) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 rebounds. Slovakian forward Katarina Tetemondova (188-88) contributed with 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Hainaut's coach Fabrice Fernandes allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Spanish swingman Queralt Casas (177-92) answered with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Canadian power forward Miranda Ayim (191-88, college: Pepperdine) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Basket Landes. Hainaut will play against Flammes (#8) in Charleville in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Basket Landes will play at home against Nice to get more than just one victory in their record.
