Very predictable result when Akita Happinets (2-0) defeated at home Kumamoto V. (0-2) 69-54 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 45-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. American forward Toarlyn Fitzpatrick (203-89, college: S.Florida) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Bahamas power forward Kadeem Coleby (206-89, college: Wichita St.) chipped in 7 points and 10 rebounds during the contest.
