But UCAM Murcia was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Malaga 74-64 on Sunday night. The game was mostly controlled by Unicaja Malaga. UCAM Murcia was better in fourth quarter 21-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a very good performance for American Jeffrey Brooks (203-89, college: Penn St.) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 9 rebounds. Serbian point guard Nemanja Nedovic (191-91, agency: BeoBasket) contributed with 12 points and 5 assists for the winners. Naturalized American point guard Brad Oleson (191-83, college: Alaska-Fairb., agency: Duran International) answered with 15 points and British Ovie Soko (201-91, college: Duquesne) added 9 points in the effort for UCAM Murcia. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Unicaja Malaga will face Burgos (#13) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. UCAM Murcia will play against CB Canarias in Tenerife and hope to win that game.
