Another exciting game was played in Caceres between Perfumerias Avenida and Al-Qazeres where Perfumerias Avenida (2-0) crushed Al-Qazeres (1-1) on the road with 31-point difference 83-52. The game without a history. Perfumerias Avenida led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Perfumerias Avenida forced 22 Al-Qazeres turnovers. Swedish Abdi Farhiya (188-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. International guard Laura Quevedo (185-96, college: Miami, FL, agency: ProDep Management) contributed with 12 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Perfumerias Avenida players scored in double figures. American forward Shayla Cooper (188-95, college: Ohio St.) replied with 21 points and 8 rebounds and her fellow American import forward Joy Brown (180-93, college: Iona) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Al-Qazeres. Al-Qazeres' coach Jacinto Carbajal gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Perfumerias Avenida will play against Argon Uni Girona (#4) at home in the next round. Al-Qazeres will play against AE Sedis and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
