Even 22 points and 9 rebounds by U.S. Virgin Islands guard Deon Edwin (190-92, college: Kent St., agency: Interperformances) did not help to save the game for KTP-Basket. American center Kenneth Simms (206-86, college: Cumberland) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Joensuun Kataja will meet Helsinki Seagulls on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. KTP-Basket will play against Espoo United (#4) and hope to win that game.
