Regular Season Round 1: Kerasan - Ylli 91-94

An interesting game was also home loss of Kerasan in a game in Prishtina versus undefeated Xhebrailat 94-91. Kerasan was very close to get their first win. But it seems they have to wait a little bit longer. American forward Taylor Bessick (206, college: Iona) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side and international forward Arif Mehmetaj (201-94, college: Daemen) accounted for 26 points and 8 rebounds. Kushtrim Sadiku (193-96) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Alban Latifaj (185-91) added 18 points respectively for Kerasan in the defeat. Five Xhebrailat and four Kerasan players scored in double figures. Kerasan's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Xhebrailat will meet at home Rahoveci in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kerasan will play against Trepca and hope to win that game.
