Regular Season Round 3: TS Ostrovia - Artego Bydg. 61-103

Artego Bydg. (3-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed TS Ostrovia (1-2) in Ostrow Wlkp. 103-61. Artego Bydg. dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to TS Ostrovia's 44 and made 21-of-23 charity shots (91.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded TS Ostrovia 32-21 including a 26-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. Artego Bydg. players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was a quality performance for international swingman Julia Adamowicz (179-94) who led the winners and scored 19 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). American forward Denesha Stallworth (191-92, college: Kentucky, agency: LBM Management) accounted for 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Five Artego Bydg. players scored in double figures. American point guard Jordan Jones (168-93, college: Texas A&M) came up with 16 points and 7 assists and the other American import center Breanna Lewis (196-94, college: Kansas St.) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively for TS Ostrovia in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Artego Bydg. will play against CCC Polkowice (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. TS Ostrovia will play against Wisla Krakow and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
