Regular Season Round 3: Enea AZS P. - AZS UMCS 54-77

Very expected game in Poznan where Enea AZS P. (0-2) was crushed by AZS UMCS (2-1) 77-54. AZS UMCS forced 20 Enea AZS P. turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Ukrainian forward Katerina Dorogobuzova (190-90) who led the winners and scored 15 points and 4 assists. American guard Feyonda Fitzgerald (170-95, college: Temple) accounted for 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Four AZS UMCS players scored in double figures. Power forward Katarzyna Bednarczyk (184-89) came up with 7 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and guard Kinga Wozniak (176-94) added 10 points respectively for Enea AZS P. in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. AZS UMCS will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Enea AZS P. will play on the road against AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski (#5) in Gorzow Wlkp. and hopes to get finally their first victory.
