Regular Season Round 3: CCC Polkowice - JAS FBG 90-61

CCC Polkowice used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Sosnowiec 90-61. CCC Polkowice dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to JAS FBG's 32. They outrebounded JAS FBG 42-29 including a 35-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. CCC Polkowice players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Theresa Plaisance (196-92, college: LSU, agency: ProDep Management) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. The former international center Magdalena Leciejewska (191-86) accounted for 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Four CCC Polkowice players scored in double figures. CCC Polkowice's coach Georgios Dikeoulakos felt very confident using 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American point guard Ketia Swanier (170-86, college: Connecticut) came up with 9 points and 9 assists and Canadian-Serbian forward Stephany Skrba (188-87, college: Michigan) added 10 points and 10 rebounds respectively for JAS FBG in the defeat. CCC Polkowice will play against Artego Bydg. in Bydgoszcz in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. JAS FBG will play on the road against Basket Gdynia (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
