Center Mikael Sandberg (210-91) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 16 rebounds. Forward Mikael Laihonen (202-94) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Guard Eerik Harju (185-98) replied with 19 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Damon Williams (201-73, college: Colorado St.-Pueblo, agency: Two Points) added 5 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Pyrinto II. Pyrinto II's coach rotated eleven players and allowed the starting five to rest. TuNMKY will face Oulun NMKY (#12) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Pyrinto II will play against HBA-Marsky (#2) in Helsinki and hope to win that game.
