An interesting game was also tough home loss of FSU in a game in Selfoss versus undefeated Skallagrimur (#8) 88-82. Skallagrimur forced 19 FSU turnovers. Naturalized American forward Darrell Flake (193-80, college: McKendree) nailed a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winning side and American point guard Zac Carter (175, college: Walsh) accounted for 19 points and 8 assists. Four Skallagrimur players scored in double figures. Point guard Ari Gylfason (186-89) came up with 21 points and 9 rebounds and Florijan Jovanov (197-91) added 17 points and 12 rebounds respectively for FSU in the defeat. FSU's coach Eloy Doce rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Skallagrimur will meet at home Fjolnir in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. FSU will play against Snaefell (#10) in Stykkisholmur and hope to win that game.
