Regular Season Round 3: Musel Pikes - Sparta 84-72

An interesting game was played in Stadrbredimus where host Musel Pikes (#7) won against Sparta 84-72 on Friday evening. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 47-34 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. The game was also dominated by American players. It was a great evening for swingman Jarmar Gulley (196-91, college: Missouri St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Michael Nwelue (195-93, college: Drury) helped adding 15 points and 13 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Brad Reese (200-88, college: Texas Tech) with 23 points and 5 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and forward Titus Robinson (201-90, college: Buffalo) scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Musel Pikes will meet Etzella (#4) in the next round. Sparta will play against Basket Esch and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
