Regular Season Round 3: Roche - Landes 59-76

Very expected game in La Roche where Roche (0-3) was defeated by Basket Landes (2-1) 76-59 on Saturday. The game without a history. Basket Landes led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great evening for Canadian power forward Miranda Ayim (191-88, college: Pepperdine) who led her team to a victory scoring 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). American center Cierra Bravard (193-89, college: Florida St., agency: ProDep Management) helped adding 16 points and 10 rebounds. Four Basket Landes players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Kristen Mann (185-83, college: UCSB, agency: ProDep Management) with 10 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Caroline Heriaud (165-96) scored 11 points. Basket Landes will face Lyon (#8) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Roche will play against Flammes (#2) in Charleville and hopes to get finally their first victory.
