Regular Season Round 3: Rivas - Teguise 77-59

Rather predictable result when Rivas (3-0) won against at home Teguise (1-2) 77-59 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Rivas. Teguise was better in fourth quarter 17-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for forward Pablo Gimenez (192-91) who led his team to a victory with 23 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Power forward Angel Gomez (197-87) contributed with 7 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Rivas' coach Juanjo Simon used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Jose Artiles answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and center Julio De-Assis (200-92) added 11 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Teguise. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
