Regular Season Round 3: Fukushima - Kagawa FA 68-61

There was no surprise when Kagawa FA (0-3) was defeated on the road by Fukushima (2-1) 68-61 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 68-61. Fukushima looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was Nigerian center Solomon Alabi (216-88, college: Florida St.) who scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. American guard Deon Jones (198-93, college: Monmouth) chipped in 13 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points, 20 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Tsukuba Tsukuba (188-92) added 12 points and 4 assists respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Fukushima will face again Kagawa FA (#6) in Takamatsu in the next round.
