Regular Season Round 5: Centrum - Froya Basket 63-97

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Froya Basket (3-2) crushed 10th ranked Centrum (1-4) in Oslo 97-63 on Saturday. The game without a history. Froya Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game, while Centrum only scored two points from the stripe. Guard Nikolas Skouen (190-90, college: Pepperdine, agency: Duran International) orchestrated the victory by scoring 29 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Sigurd Lorange (178-0) contributed with 25 points and 5 steals for the winners. Four Froya Basket players scored in double figures. Guard Magnus Midtvedt (182-90) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and forward Marcus Larsson (204-99) added 15 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Centrum. Centrum's coach Inge-Aleksander Kristiansen gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Froya Basket maintains third place with 3-2 record having just two points less than leader Asker Aliens, which they share with Gimle BBK. Centrum lost their fourth game in a row. Defending champion dropped to the ninth position with four games lost. Froya Basket will face Tromso (#6) at home in the next round. Centrum will play against Gimle BBK and hope to win that game.
