Regular Season Round 3: IK Eos - Koping Stars 73-103

An exciting game was played in Lund. Koping Stars faced IK Eos. Guests from Koping (3-0) smashed host IK Eos (1-2) 103-73. The game without a history. Koping Stars led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Koping Stars forced 20 IK Eos turnovers and outrebounded them 47-27 including a 32-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. 26 personal fouls committed by IK Eos helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Serbian guard Aleksa Solevic (188-93, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who scored 13 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals. Center Mikael Axelsson (207-94) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard David Terins (192-95) who recorded 12 points and point guard Adnan Karovic (188-88) added 11 points respectively. Five Koping Stars and four IK Eos players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Koping Stars is looking forward to face LF Future (#6) in Lulea in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. IK Eos will play on the road against Trelleborg and are hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
