Regular Season Round 5: Belfius Namur - Jeugd Gentson 80-43

Bottom-ranked Jeugd Gentson (0-4) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 80-43 loss to sixth ranked Belfius Namur (3-2) in Namur on Saturday evening. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Jeugd Gentson's 22. Belfius Namur forced 30 Jeugd Gentson turnovers and outrebounded them 40-24 including a 27-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Jeugd Gentson's coach Wesley Wauters gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Belfius Namur moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Waregem and Liege. Jeugd Gentson lost their fourth game in a row. They still close the standings with four games lost. Belfius Namur will meet Laarne (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Jeugd Gentson will play against Verviers-Pep. and hopes to get finally their first victory.
