Regular Season Round 3: Arras - Angers 51-74

An interesting game where Angers (#4) crushed host Arras (#7) with 23-point difference 74-51 on Saturday evening. Angers dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Arras' 28. Angers forced 22 Arras turnovers. It was a great evening for forward Clarince Djaldi-Tabdi (183-95) who led her team to a victory scoring 23 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Isis Arrondo (166-89) helped adding 11 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Four Angers players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Mali center Astan Dabo (203-92) with 9 points and 12 rebounds and the former international forward Sabrina Reghaissia (188-83) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Arras' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Angers will meet at home Bretagne Basket (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Arras will play against COB Calais (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
