FC Barcelona smashed Burgos at home 111-81. The game without a history. FC Barcelona led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. FC Barcelona outrebounded Burgos 36-22 including 21 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Burgos' players. The best player for the winners was international guard Pau Ribas (195-87) who scored 21 points. International power forward Pierre Oriola (206-92) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American-Georgian point guard Corey Fisher (186-88, college: Villanova) who recorded 13 points and 5 assists and American forward Deon Thompson (203-88, college: N.Carolina) added 11 points respectively. Four FC Barcelona and five Burgos players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Burgos will play next round against Movil Estudiantes trying to get back on the winning streak. FC Barcelona will try to continue on its current victory against Blusens Monbus in Santiago de Comp.
