We should not miss the game where Venezia (2-0) edged by three points Napoli (1-1) 51-48. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Venezia forced 38 Napoli turnovers. Slovakian center Marie Ruzickova (190-86, agency: LBM Management) notched a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds to lead the effort and international Martina Bestagno (189-90, agency: Two Points) supported her with 11 points. Four Venezia players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds by international forward Sabrina Cinili (190-89) did not help to save the game for Napoli.
