Guard Nicolo Gatti (196-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Naturalized Bosnian forward Adem Catakovic (201-96) contributed with 21 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) for the winners. Naturalized Argentinian swingman Santiago Boffelli (195-83) replied with 17 points and power forward Paolo Gallo (200-90) added 12 points in the effort for Alba. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Valsesia will face Montecatiniterme (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Alba will play against Omegna and hope to win that game.
