The game between closely ranked teams ended with Wetterbygden's (2-1) home victory over Hogsbo (1-3) 77-53. The game was mostly controlled by Wetterbygden. Hogsbo was better in third quarter 18-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Hogsbo to just 6 points in fourth quarter. Wetterbygden dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Hogsbo's 12. Wetterbygden forced 19 Hogsbo turnovers. It was a good game for Spanish forward Albert Masllorens (199-90) who led his team to a victory with 21 points and 6 rebounds. Spanish guard Guim Exposito (197-94) contributed with 17 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals for the winners. Four Wetterbygden players scored in double figures. Guard Lukas Brehm (191-91) answered with 15 points and 9 rebounds and forward Filip Sjostrom (200-90) added 15 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Hogsbo. Hogsbo's coach Yannick Trott gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Wetterbygden will play against Malbas (#5) in Malmo in the next round. Hogsbo will have a break next round.
