Regular Season Round 2: Teramo - Recanati 89-67

There was a minor upset when Recanati (1-1) was outscored on the road by Teramo (1-1) 89-67 on Sunday. Teramo outrebounded Recanati 35-16 including a 28-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. Teramo looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Swingman Valerio Staffieri (196-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 29 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Serbian power forward Bogdan Milojevic (200-98) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Naturalized Senegalese power forward Yande Fall (203-90, agency: Octagon Europe) replied with 10 points and 8 rebounds and guard Vincenzo Di-Viccaro (192-84) added 17 points in the effort for Recanati. Five Teramo and four Recanati players scored in double figures. Teramo will face Senigallia (#16) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Recanati will play against Cerignola Udas (#13) and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the Serie A2 just one year after relegation.
