Regular Season Round 3: UCAM Murcia - Andorra 81-77

We should mention about the upset which took place in Murcia, where Andorra (0-3) lost to UCAM Murcia (1-2) in a road game 77-81. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Andorra won third quarter 24-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when UCAM Murcia won last quarter 19-17. 27 personal fouls committed by Andorra helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was an exceptional evening for Argentinian-Italian center Marcos Delia (211-92) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds. American-Dominican swingman Sadiel Rojas (197-89, college: Okla.Wesleyan) accounted for 16 points for the winning side. French point guard Andrew Albicy (177-90) came up with 12 points, 7 assists and 5 steals and Polish center Przemyslaw Karnowski (216-93, college: Gonzaga) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Andorra in the defeat. Four Andorra players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. UCAM Murcia's next round opponent will be Gipuzkoa (#6) in San Sebastian and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Andorra will play at home against Gran Canaria (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
