Regular Season Round 31: Falcons - UCU Canons 75-68

The game between third ranked UCU Canons (11-5) and eleventh ranked Falcons (4-9) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. UCU Canons were defeated by Falcons in a tough game in Kampala 68-75. Falcons looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Benard Okumu who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Vinnie Jurua (-89) contributed with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Forward Brian Namake (-90) answered with 7 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Wian Ater (-95) added 16 points in the effort for UCU Canons. UCU Canons' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Falcons moved-up to tenth place. UCU Canons at the other side dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. Falcons are looking forward to face UPDF (#11) in the next round. UCU Canons will play against the league's leader Power (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
