Regular Season Round 2: Volpino - Cento 81-90

There was no surprise when Volpino (0-2) lost at home to Cento (2-0) 90-81 on Sunday. They made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Volpino was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Center Giorgio Piunti (205-90) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Naturalized Argentinian guard Adrian Chiera (190-94, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 22 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Edoardo Caversazio (199-96) replied with 16 points and 5 assists and power forward Alessio Sabbadini (203-93) added 17 points in the effort for Volpino.
