Regular Season Round 3: FC Barcelona II - Melilla 71-84

Melilla Baloncesto (3-0) managed to deliver another win on Tuesday. This time they beat Barca II (1-2) in Barcelona 84-71. It was a quality performance for center Fran Guerra (214-92) who led the winners and scored 9 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Daniel Rodriguez (182-84) accounted for 10 points and 5 assists for the winning side. Senegalese center Atoumane Diagne (215-98) came up with 10 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Aleix Font (192-98) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Barca II in the defeat. Four Barca II players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Melilla Baloncesto will meet at home Palma (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Barca II will play against Castello in Castellon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
