Regular Season Round 5: Toyota Alvark - Niigata Albirex 95-97 OT

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Toyota Alvark (3-1) in Tokyo on Tuesday night. Hosts were edged by Niigata Albirex (3-1) in overtime 97-95. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Toyota Alvark. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Niigata Albirex dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Toyota Alvark's 38.
