Regular Season Round 2: BC Lulea - Norrkoping 94-79

Norrkoping Dolphins (1-1) recorded a loss on the court of BC Lulea on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by BC Lulea 94-79. The game was mostly controlled by BC Lulea. Norrkoping Dolphins managed to win fourth quarter 23-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BC Lulea shot 61.8 percent from the field and made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for BC Lulea especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 60.0 percentage. The best player for the winners was Canadian forward Yannick Anzuluni (205-87, college: Houghton) who scored 21 points and 9 rebounds. American guard Brandon Rozzell (188-89, college: VCU) chipped in 21 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). BC Lulea's coach Peter Oqvist used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Gerry Blakes (193-93, college: Arizona St.) produced 17 points and 6 assists and the former international center Joakim Kjellbom (212-79, college: N.Arizona) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. BC Lulea is looking forward to face Uppsala Basket (#5) on the road in the next round. Norrkoping Dolphins will play against KFUM Jamtland in Ostersund and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
