Regular Season Round 3: Palma - Caceres 69-64

Palma used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Caceres 69-64. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 14-10. But Caceres Basket won second period 18-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was Lithuanian center Tautvydas Slezas (207-90, agency: Interperformances) who had a double-double by scoring 10 points and 16 rebounds. Point guard Carles Bivia (189-85) chipped in 18 points. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Daniel Martinez (199-94) who recorded 14 points and 6 rebounds and Lithuanian center Robertas Grabauskas (208-90, college: Northwood, agency: HMS) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Caceres Basket's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Palma's next round opponent will be Melilla Baloncesto on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Caceres Basket will play against Magia Huesca (#16) and hope to win that game.
